About the foundation

Established in 2023 by MILOŠ Karadaglić, born in Montenegro and now one of the world’s leading classical guitarists, this philanthropic organization is committed to providing opportunities for aspiring young artists from the Balkans to hone their skills in an international arena. The Foundation’s aim is to provide financial support for the artists along with one-on-one mentoring and access to the network of contacts Miloš has developed over the span of his career.

Driven by a deep sense of gratitude for his own extraordinary musical journey, Miloš wants to provide the means and inspiration for the immensely talented artists of his homeland to achieve their highest potential and realize their dreams.

All the Foundation’s initiatives will support inclusivity, equal opportunity and care. The Foundation will foster a welcoming environment for young people from the most diverse backgrounds, including persons with disabilities.

United by a shared purpose, the Foundation and its Board of Trustees will host an array of events throughout the year including an annual fundraising gala where scholarship recipients will perform. Master classes, hosting visiting artists, fundraising dinners and concerts will be among the initiatives the Board will undertake. The funds generated will provide scholarships for aspiring artists and will sow the seeds for a nationwide rejuvenation of the performing arts. The Foundation’s carefully selected team of volunteers, ambassadors and influencers promises to become an invaluable, independent asset in the cultural landscape of the Western Balkans.

Porto Montenegro is the founding partner of the Milos Karadaglic Foundation. In addition to hosting the Foundation’s offices, Porto Montenegro is also a contributor to the scholarship fund for talented artists. This contribution encompasses covering educational costs and providing access to Syncro district’s impressive audio-visual recording facilities.
